We apply engineering principles and technology to building design and construction, and provide a service to architects, engineers and builders.

We design, certify, manufacture and install structural components and aesthetic elements which make up a modern building. We also design, build and test prototypes for pre-production, patent application, one-off jobbing projects or production lots.

We specialise in the challenging and the difficult.

IDC was established in April 1987 by the principal, Peter Ivanoff, who has a diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Hobart University and Tech. College) and is a member of both Engineers Australia (MIE Australia) and The Royal Aeronautical G.B. (R.Ae.S.GB).
