The requirement for the exterior of this building was for earthy colours, hence the use of weathered steel, HW350, which was allowed to stain the polished concrete walls below.
The massive front door weighs some 400kgs and is constructed from a tubular steel frame clad with HW350 panels, carried on a pivot hinge and magnetically locked.
